The UPSC CDS 1 Final Result 2025 has been officially released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on its website, upsc.gov.in. This result is related to the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025, which was conducted on 13 April 2025 as per Examination Notice No. 04/2025.CDS-I, dated 11 December 2024. The examination aimed to fill 457 vacancies in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) for both men and women candidates.

Candidates who appeared for the written examination and the subsequent Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview can now check their UPSC CDS 1 Final Result 2025 online. The merit list includes the roll numbers and names of candidates who have qualified for final selection based on their performance in both the written test and SSB interviews. Those selected will be considered for admission to their respective training academies—IMA Dehradun, INA Ezhimala, AFA Hyderabad, and OTA Chennai—beginning in January and April 2026, as mentioned in the official notification.

UPSC CDS (I) Examination 2025 Notification – Apply Online

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025, under Examination Notice No. 04/2025. CDS-I, dated 11 December 2024. The CDS (I) 2025 exam will be conducted on 13 April 2025 for recruitment into various defense academies, including IMA, INA, AFA, and OTA (men & women). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through upsconline.gov.in till 31 December 2024 (6:00 PM).

APPLICATION FEE

  • General/OBC: ₹200/-

  • Female/SC/ST: Exempted

  • Payment can be made through SBI Bank, debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking.

  • The pay-by-cash mode deactivates on 30 December 2024 (11:59 PM).

Educational Qualification

Educational Qualification:

  • IMA/OTA: Graduate degree from a recognized university.

  • INA: Engineering degree from a recognized university/institution.

  • AFA: Graduate with Physics & Mathematics at the 10+2 level or with a Bachelor of Engineering.

4. Physical Standards:
Candidates must be physically fit as per guidelines given in Appendix-IV of the official notification.

Age Limit & Marital Status:

  • IMA & INA: Unmarried male candidates born between 02 Jan 2002 and 01 Jan 2007.

  • AFA: 20 to 24 years as of 01 Jan 2026 (born between 02 Jan 2002 and 01 Jan 2006).

  • OTA (Men): Unmarried male candidates born between 02 Jan 2001 and 01 Jan 2007.

  • OTA (Women): Unmarried women, issueless widows, and issueless divorcees (not remarried) born between 02 Jan 2001 and 01 Jan 2007.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality:
The candidate must be an Indian citizen, a subject of Nepal, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from certain countries intending to settle permanently in India.
