Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (Pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates)
Proficiency in word processing on computer
Knowledge of local language of the state applied for (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding)

Age Limit (as on February 1, 2026):

Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 28 years
Born between February 2, 1998 and February 1, 2006

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PwBD: 10-15 years (depending on category)
Ex-servicemen: As per service rules

Salary Structure

Pay Scale: ₹20,700 – ₹55,700
Starting basic pay with regular increments
Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and other benefits as per RBI norms

Selection Process

Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) – April 11, 2026 (Tentative)
Main Examination (Objective Type) – June 7, 2026 (Tentative)
Language Proficiency Test (LPT) in the local language

Exam Pattern (Prelims): 100 questions (English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning) – 60 minutes
Exam Pattern (Mains): 200 questions (Reasoning, English, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge) – 135 minutes
Negative Marking: 1/4 mark deducted for each wrong answer
